FAQ’s

+ What types of fishing techniques are used on the adventure?

With more than 15 years of experience, we will practice these three types of fishing techniques on our adventure:

  • Light Tackle Fishing: A carefully thought-out approach that uses a line and a hook with live or artificial bait. It centers on the fisherman’s own ability as an angler, but you can count on us to guide you through every step of the way.
  • Fly Fishing: Using a rod and artificial lure called “fly”, this technique makes ir possible to cast small flies at very far distances. Although it can be slightly more difficult to learn, it can certainly make it more satisfying to fish.
  • Reef Fishing: Let’s explore together these underwater structures and target species near the seabed. In this type of fishing, we will guide you while approaching the reef with care and recommend you the best angles to fish.

+ How exactly is Puerto Rico's tarpon fishing area?

Our fishing location consists of the San José, Torrecilla and Piñones lagoons. We are sure that Puerto Rico is one of the best places to fish for tarpon, since it is one of the few places where tarpon does not have predators within the lagoon. We’re very lucky the water here is mostly calm securing that our operations are almost never interrupted by weather conditions (thunderstorms, hurricanes and tropical depressions).
